Testimonials

"These guys were fantastic. I rented a regular bike off them the first day and it went so smooth that I decided to rent their E-bike the next day. I got two full days and most certainly got my moneys worth. Probably the best purchase I did on my whole time in LA. The guys were extremely friendly and the process was so painless. I can't remember them enough. "

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to rent a bike?

All you need is a valid government license: We take a photo to keep for our records and to fill out the waiver form. 😊 For E-Bikes and E-scooters we only accept CC payments and we must hold on to your ID while you’re on your ride.

What form of payments do you take?

We accept all major credit cards, cash, and Apple Pay! We're not old-school! 😎

Should I reserve ahead of time or can i just walk in?

Walk-in at your own risk! Rentals come in and out all day and there are periods during the day where we have no beach cruisers or no e-bikes. The only way to 100% make sure we have what you are looking for is going to be to reserve ahead of time.

Do I have to return the bikes to this one location?

Yes, at the moment this is the only truck that we have, so you do have to return the bikes here.

What comes with my rental?

We have helmets & baskets that are complimentary. You can also rent a lock for $5, 1 lock can lock 2 bikes up. The bikes also come with bells for when the bike path is busy so you're safe while you ride. 👍🏽

What are your rates?

To see all of our most up to date prices please visit our booking calendar.

Can kids ride the electric bikes?

Yes, kids/teens can ride e-bike as long as they look fine while doing their test ride. Our employees will make the final call and assess if they feel like the kid can handle being on the e-bike. If our employee doesn’t think that they can be safe during their ride then they will recommend other rides.

What are your hours?

We  operate Mon-Fri from 10am-5pm and Sat-Sun from 10am-7pm.

Do you guys do multi day rentals?

Yes, we do offer multi day rentals on all our equipment. We provide you with locks to make sure the equipment is safe over night and wherever you travel. If you get an electric bike or scooter we provide you with chargers. To get an accurate quote please give us a call or send us a text message/email to understand your specific needs. 424-407-2024 or hello@rideitbabybikes.com

Why do we offer insurance on our rental equipment?

We offer insurance for your safety, for the durability and enjoyment of our equipment, and to save you from being responsible for paying a lot of money for damages on the equipment you rent.

How much does the insurance cost?

It depends on the type of equipment you rent, the length of your rental, and the amount of people in your rental party. Please get in contact with us to know how much your insurance would cost you.

What does the insurance cover?

When you purchase our insurance, we guarantee that we will cover 100% of any mechanical damages caused to your rental equipment either by you, another member of your rental group, another person biking, walking, on the way, or a vehicle in motion or not in motion, an animal, or any other object on the way or that caused your collision or fall. Damages to the frame are not covered as we will have to buy a new item. You will be responsible for 50% of the total wholesale cost of the item you rented plus shipping and, or any other costs associated with it. If you rent an e-bike, and you lose or get stolen the key to the battery or the battery itself, you will have to pay for a new battery plus a non-refundable $50 service fee. Prices of batteries change overtime so the price will be calculated the moment of the incident. We will try to place an order with our manufacturer for a new set of keys, and if successful you will receive a full refund for the battery minus your non-refundable $50 service fee. If we cannot obtain a new set of keys, we will not refund you the cost of the new battery as we will have to get rid of the old battery. If you damage or lose any electrical components to the e-bike, for example the motor, the battery, the pedal-assist sensor, displays, motor controller, headlight, charger or any other electrical component, you are responsible for 50% of the total wholesale or retail price if a wholesale option is not available.Your insurance is not transferable to any other person in your group. For example, if you rent two electric bikes and only one is insured, and the one that is not insured gets into an accident, you cannot transfer the insurance on the one that has it to the one that doesn't have the insurance. You are responsible for any damages. In case of theft, we will assess each incident and determine the consequence. If theft occurred from your own negligence, for example failure to lock your equipment in a secure, legal, and logical place, you will be responsible for 100% of the total wholesale or retail cost, if wholesale price is not available, plus shipping costs and, or any other fees associated with the transaction. If theft did not occur from your own lack of negligence, for example you locked your bikes properly and the locks were cut and the equipment stolen, you will have to provide substantial evidence to prove that you in fact did everything you could to secure your equipment but it was still stolen. If you provide enough evidence, you will only be responsible for 50% of the total wholesale or retail cost, if wholesale price is not available, plus shipping costs and, or any other fees associated with the transaction.

When is my rental equipment considered to be insured?

Your equipment is insured when you select that you want to pay for insurance on our rental liability waiver form, you sign our waiver, and you make the payment. Verbal agreements are not considered.
